Fight Alzheimer's 2017

Thursday, 21 September 2017 - 1:00pm to 3:30pm

If you, or a family member, have concerns about changes to memory or behaviour – Alzheimer's Australia Vic are here to help with a staff team based in Geelong: 318 Pakington Street, Newtown.

Drop by for a yarn with Nola, Louise, Jane or Chris; or call on 1300 526 576 to find out more about their services.

As part of Dementia Awareness Month, Alzheimer’s Australia Vic and the Dementia Agency Network Geelong (DANG) are also inviting the community to an afternoon of information and support activities. A local Geriatrician, Dr Mander, will be presenting an overview of dementia and summarising current research. Service agencies across Geelong will then be on hand to discuss their services and provide information about support available.

This is a great opportunity to learn the latest about dementia and services, and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask!

Date: Thursday, 21 September
Time: 1.00pm - Lecture, 2.00 to 3.30pm - Information Expo
Venue: Geelong West Town Hall, 153 Pakington Street
