AHPA Mentoring Program
The National Mentoring Program is an important means for AHPA to achieve this aim, and we encourage all members to participate as mentees, mentors or both! Previous participants have described the program as enjoyable, nurturing, positive, mutually beneficial, rewarding and comforting.
The Mentoring Program will also assist those who have achieved registration as a Health Promotion Practitioner under our exciting new Health Promotion Practitioner Registration initiative. Mentoring is approved as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity for maintaining your registration through AHPA®, involving accruing the 75 hours of CPD over three years.
You can now apply to participate in the 2018 Mentoring Program as a Mentee, Mentor or both via the SurveyMonkey link below:
Applications are due by Friday 6th of July 2018.
The Mentoring Committee will then assess all applications and aim to match mentees and mentors by 31st of July 2018. If we experience any delays, it's because we are trying to find the right mentor/mentee for you! Once matches are made, you'll be provided with resources on how to initiate the Mentoring Program.
