COGG Healthy at Home Toolkit – Connecting our community through kindness
The City of Greater Geelong has designed a postcard to initiate connections between neighbours, with hard copies being delivered to almost 30,000 homes across Greater Geelong this week.
Residents are encouraged to offer support to others while keeping a safe distance. All you have to do is complete the template and drop it into the letterbox of someone who might need a helping hand with tasks like groceries, watering the garden or putting out the bins.
The postcard is a new addition to the Healthy at Home toolkit, which was launched online in May. The toolkit includes recipes, home workouts, tips and ideas that can be easily adopted, focusing on four key priority areas: mental health and wellbeing; food and nutrition; physical activity; positive and respectful relationships.
Resources can be accessed online and will soon be made available in printed booklets.
